My Background
I was eleven years old when I purchased my first camera. Spending some free time near a pond where I lived, I began by taking shots of the pond through the tall grass that lined the water’s edge. After many years in the financial services industry, I use my spare time taking shots of the surroundings in my coastal New England town.
Photography as Communication
When I see a particular scene that interests me, my mind sometimes conjures up a tagline that might go with the image. I may post the photo and the tagline on social media and people respond to what the words and the image say.
